Sri Lanka, the splendid island situated at the tip of India is blessed with bio-diversity. The country is classified as having a tropical climate with a rich agricultural history of more than 2000 years. Historical data on Sri Lankan agriculture proves that our forefathers have been pioneers in organic farming through organic became a trend only in the new millennium.

Renuka Organics (Pvt) Ltd is a joint venture between the Renuka group Sri Lanka and Martien Witsenberg Holding B.V, Netherlands along with its subsidiaries - Renuka Witsenburg Organics (Pvt) Ltd (Manufacture of fruit, spice& rice products), Kandy plantations Ltd (Organic plantations) and its associate company Renuka Agrifoods Ltd (Manufacture of Coconut products) who is Sri Lanka’s pioneers in Organic Agriculture since 1989.

 

All life on earth is part of one great, interdependent system. It interacts with and depends on the non living components of the planet: atmosphere, oceans, fresh waters, rocks and soils. Humanity depends totally on this community of biosphere of which we are an integral part.
