New wheel technology; tire made puncture free and no replacement required. Only the outer tread belt is required to replace.
Wheel with Outer Rim (ORIM) is a new tire technology minimizing rubber material in order to save the vehicle maintenance cost. With this modern wheel technology the rim size is kept to the smallest diameter possible, leaving the space for break drum and axle accommodation. Then there will be a large space remaining between the required wheel diameter and the modified rim diameter, so that, the small size tire is placed over the rim. The remaining space is occupied by a reinforced hoop member with its outer periphery enclosed by a tread belt.
Placing air cushion next to treads is not obligatory. We place air cushion at another place, somewhere between road surface and axle. It don't have an adverse effect either on vehicle or passengers and goods. This new concept of modern wheel, is environment friendly and saving disposable rubber material. It refines existing wheel technology.
As shown in the picture the new wheel arrangement, the tire is having a smaller diameter compared to conventional tire. It will stay above the ground surface and prevents damages to the rubber materials, which is costly in manufacture.
