This office was established on 30th January 2007, covering 39 GN divisions of the Panduwasnuwara electorate and it belongs to completely Angamu Koralaya and part from Uthuru Yatigaha, Thissawa and Girathalana Korala.
According to the agrarian services dominion, 25 GN divisions belong to Kanogama agrarian services area, 8 GN divisions to Munamaldeniya agrarian services area and 6 GN to Panduwasnuwara agrarian services area.
Paddy and coconut are the main agricultural crops of the division which could be introduced as an agricultural area. Annual rainfall is between 35mm to 40mm. no of big tanks in the divisions are about 30 while no of small tanks lower than 10 acres are 86. Even though the main crop is paddy there is only one tank which is large more than 50 acres. Insufficient tank water becomes the main factor which effect for the unsuccessfulness of the paddy cultivation.
Apart from the paddy cultivation, if there is a tendency of the farmers to cultivate crops such as betel, vegetables, Banana, ground nut, deficiency of water had effected badly for that. Apart from the agricultural activities people are engaging in animal husbandry, small scale industries and other labor activities. Pottery as traditional industry and brick industry as small scale industry, breaking ground can be seen.
When considering animal husbandry poultry farming, cattle farming can be seen in large scale. There are about 15 milk collecting centers in the division.
