ROOMS
The unique rooms at Deco on 44 have been individually designed and decorated with art and coziness in mind. All our rooms are air-conditioned and have LCD televisions with satellite TV and DVD players. The luxurious en-suite bathrooms are beautifully decorated with mosaic designs and feature separate rain showers. Other amenities include plush bedding with down pillows, writing desk, large wardrobe, comfortable armchairs, an in room safe, in room dinning and laundry service.
Each room has a unique identity and has been restored with personal dedication to offer comfort and relaxation. Through every attention to detail that is evident in the rooms, one can feel the meaning of luxurious and comfort.
Each individual room has been named after the 7 bastions that surround the Galle Fort.
The two balcony suites, namely ‘Sun’ and ‘Moon’, overlook Lighthouse Street, a famous street within the Fort. These two spacious rooms open out to large private balconies and provide a feeling of intimate luxury. This the perfect place to relax and absorb the magnificent Galle Fort.
The other suite room ‘Neptune’ has its own living area and a view of our sapphire blue swimming pool. The room is spacious and secluded in order to provide a quiet sanctuary for your enjoyment and privacy.
Our Junior Suite ‘Star’ is abundant in space and is situated on the top floor of the hotel.
Our Deluxe rooms on the ground floor, Aurora, Triton and Aeolus are situated adjoining our beautiful swimming pool which is the perfect place to escape for a quiet moment and breathe in the awe of the simplicity of life inside the Galle Fort . Like the other rooms in the property they are individually decorated in our Art Deco theme.

‘Deco’ All Day Dining – Situated on the ground Floor, ‘The Deco’, offers an extensive all day dining menu that is famous in the Fort. This is also where our special breakfast is served to our in-house guests.
‘The Gulf’ Sheesha and Tapas Bar – Situated on the roof top open air terrace, with a view of some of the famous landmarks of the Galle Fort, ‘The Gulf’ is the perfect place to wind down. All our Sheesha are imported directly from the Gulf and is accompanied by a variety of drinks and a Tapas Menu that is truly delicious.
