Victoria Randenigala Rantambe Sanctuary is situated between the knuckles mountain range and the central mountains of Kandy. The size of this Sanctuary is 42,087 hectares .This Sanctuary was artificially created by people to protect Victoria reservoir, Randenigala reservoir and Rantambe Sanctuary which are three main hydro-electric reservoir of Sri lanka you can access this sanctuary via world famous hairpin bends or Raja mawatha . HOW TO GET THERE: -
Colombo – Kegalle – Kandy – Tennakumbura Bridge – Go straight to reach Raja Mawatha which goes through the sanctuary. (4 ½ hours)
