I am Panduka, based in Colombo - Sri Lanka. Photography for me is more than a hobby but a passion for over 40 years and pursuing photography as an honored profession. Commencing my career in the managerial sciences, ending as General Manager of an enterprise related to photography, while intensely dabbling in photography and then this hobby eventfully metamorphosing in to a professional career. My photography with a partiality to sourcing ambient illumination for journalistic type of studies, besides commercial assignments has been harnessed for well over twenty years making me head and shoulders above many practicing professionals in the Island. Through this blog I upload images frequently and share my enthusiasm of recording what is fascinating with fellow hobbyists; but as a practice, do not portray any from the assignments that I accept commercially. People, places, events, captured purely as a form of art are what I present on my blog. As I travel and as I teach I get the opportunity to capture thousands of images. These are archived for posterity and for the future generation as the world transforms rapidly and what I capture are moments of history conserved for posterity.
